December in Denver

November 28, 2017

Here are a few great events going on in Denver this December. Make sure you take time from the Holiday madness and have some fun!

Zoo Lights

Guests of this popular holiday tradition will experience a light safari with 60 brilliantly-illuminated acres of lights, featuring more than 150 animated animal sculptures that swing through trees, jump across lawns, hide in bushes and appear in places where they're least expected.

Santa at Union Station

Denver Union Station is thrilled to once again be welcoming Santa & Mrs. Claus this holiday season for free family photos in the Great Hall.

Tiny House Holiday Village

Talk to the tiny house professionals about all things tiny - get a cup of hot cocoa and take a break from the hustle and bustle of the holiday shopping by touring some of the most amazing tiny homes by local Colorado builders!

Firefly Handmade Holiday Market

Firefly Handmade is a creatively curated indie artisan market, ranked by buzzfeed.com as one of the "Top 35 Craft Fairs Every Creative Needs to Visit" and "One of the Best Craft Fairs in the USA" by Pop Shop America.

Blossoms of Light

This annual holiday lights extravaganza features new elements, along with the popular illuminated O’Fallon Perennial Walk and UMB Bank Amphitheater's interactive light display.

Elf The Musical

Based on the beloved 2003 New Line Cinema hit, ELF The Musical is a modern day Christmas classic that is sure to make everyone embrace their inner ELF. Variety proclaims, “ELF is happy enough for families, savvy enough for city kids and plenty smart for adults!”.

Dolls’ Tea Party at the Oxford Hotel

The Oxford Hotel’s Dolls’ Tea Party is a classic tea with hot cocoa for children and a light snack of tea sandwiches and assorted treats. It’s a great way to not only make memories but also enjoy the joyful winter celebration with siblings, friends and family.

Holidays at the Hanger

Planes, Santa, mimosas and live reindeer? Say no more. It’s as if the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum read our minds. On Dec. 11, the whole family will enjoy the 2nd annual Holidays at the Hangar with carolers, live reindeer, mimosas (holla!), cookie decorating, a holiday movie in the theater and, of course, photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus. The kids can even write a letter to Santa!
