Holiday Cocktails, Done Right!

Not sure what to serve this holiday season? Here are some great options to get your creativity flowing! 

 

CHRISTMAS SANGRIA
Ingredients:
  • 2 bottles Pinot Grigio or Chardonnay 

  • 3/4 cup sparkling apple cider

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1/4 cup cranberries, halved

  • 3/4 cup cranberries, whole

  • 1 Granny Smith apple, chopped

  • 3 rosemary sprigs

Directions:
  1. Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher and stir together. You want to make sure to dissolve all the sugar. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving. Serve chilled or over ice. Garnish with cranberries for a festive look! 

     

 MULLED WINE

Ingredients:

 

1 bottle of red wine (pinor noir, cabernet, merlot)

⅓ cup brandy

¼ cup honey

1 orange, sliced

1 pink lady apple, sliced (seeds removed)

3 whole cloves

1 cinnamon stick

2 star anise.

 

Directions:

 

1. Add all of the ingredients to a medium sauce pan or dutch oven. Cover. 2. Turn burners to medium heat and let simmer for 30 minutes.

3. Serve!

 

 

BOURBON APPLE CIDER

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cup apple cider

4 ounces bourbon

2 cinnamon sticks

1/2 tsp whole cloves

 

Directions:

1. Combine all the ingredients in a small sauce pan and heat over medium­/low heat until liquid starts to steam and is hot to the touch. 

2. Remove and garnish with cinimon sticks and apple peel.

3. Enjoy!
