Denver Veterans Day Run
Recognized as Denver’s official run for Veterans, this is a memorial 5K & 10K fun run that is open to runners, joggers, walkers, kids of all ages, and dogs are always welcome. And this year, the run is on November 11th, Veterans Day. ALL proceeds of your registration (and donations!) goes directly to helping Colorado Veterans. The Denver Veterans Day Run is hosted by Colorado Veterans Project,501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that hosts special events in order to raise awareness and funds for local Veteran organizations. Our mission is to enhance pride and patriotism in all Coloradans by building a stronger, more supportive community around our Veterans
Ski and Snowboard Expo
The Expos feature a number of attractions ongoing throughout the weekend, including thrilling ski/snowboard aerial demonstrations, a host of interactive hands on features, Olympian Doug Lewis’ fun-filled ELITEAM Fitness Challenge area, Freestyle Aerial Trampoline Shows, Kids Snow Park learning areas, Beer Gardens, live music, and numerous contests and giveaways, including lift tickets and ski vacations. Olympic champions and other snowsports VIPs annually headline each Expo, signing posters and hobnobbing with Expo visitors.
Denver Botanic Gardens - Winter Gift Show
Vendors sell one-of-a-kind, handcrafted holiday items; bath and body products; pottery; jewelry; specialty foods; clothing; antiques and more. The Gardens Guild offers its popular herbal vinegars and seasonings. Gardens' admission is free during Winter Gift Market.
