And just like that, it's already the middle of May! As I would typically post a few of my favorite in-person events happening in Denver this month, things look different now. So, below you will find some excellent suggestions on how to have fun while staying safer at home!!!

Ready to mix up your Tuesday night? Pick up a Ciders + Sushi Pairing with Getfed Concepts, May 26th from 3-7pm, at our to-go window.

Enjoy 4 different sushi rolls (2 pieces per tasting) and 4 cans of cider, for just $26, gratuity included. Please reserve your pairing early to help limit waste during this unpredictable time.

 

 

 

 

Curbside Luau Pop-Up Fest

Pre-Order one of our Luau Feasts alongside your Covid Cocktail and take the Tiki Party Home! Join us Friday, May 15 from 6-9PM for our pop-up Curbside Luau including some hula moves from Kalama Polynesian Dancers and some authentic fire performances...all from the comfort of your car or our curb...socially distanced and masked, of course;-)

Stammtisch - Virtual Happy Hour 

• What we'll do
The third Thursday of every month, the GACC-CO hosts a Stammtisch where you can brush up on your German language skills.

Join us virtually for happy hour and German discussion on Thursday, May 21. Practice your German as you sit back, relax, and enjoy a nice German beer (BYOB!) with Colorado's German-speaking community from the comfort of your own home. Bis bald!

 

 

 

 

Online: Seedlings Show and Share

ONLINE: Seedlings Show and Share is a remote opportunity for families to connect with each other and nature from the comfort of home! Join Denver Botanic Gardens' Family Program Team to sing songs, listen to stories and share natural items you find around your home or neighborhood. This 20-30 minute live program takes place on Zoom.

Families with children 18 months to 6 years
FREE, advance registration is required

An email with the Zoom log in will be provided the day before your session.

 

 

 

  

Sunset Paddle at Sloan's Lake

Join us for a sunset paddle outing at Sloan's Lake! Enjoy a relaxed paddle while taking in the view of the Rocky Mountains under the glow of the sunset! Please arrive at 6:00 pm, outing will launch at 6:30 pm from the boat launch area at Sloan's Lake Park and will return at approximately 8:00 pm. Reservations are required for this outing, please call (303)472-3355 to make your reservation.

There will also be weekly outings through September.

Cost:
There is no cost for Denver Paddle Club members with their own equipment and 2020 DPR permit
